We are right in the middle of a busy week welcoming our pilot students to school. It has been so fun for Ms. Hwieun and I to see how much our returning students have grown over the summer, and how in awe our new students are of starting school for the first time. We are busy enjoying the lasting summer heat, finding our cubbies, coloring, painting, playing with toys, checking in at circle time, eating snack with friends, and learning the school routine.
We're off to a great start!
Upcoming dates to remember:
Sept 26 Back to school night 6:30 Oct 4 no school for PEP
Oct 9 no school

Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS)
- PBIS is a data-driven decision making FRAMEWORK for establishing the social culture and behavioral supports needed to establish an effective learning environment for ALL of our students.
- Sherwood Standard(s):
- Ready to Learn
- Kind
- Safe
- Restorative Justice is a powerful approach to discipline that focuses on repairing harm through inclusive processes that engage all stakeholders. Restorative justice takes an approach that resolves conflict and prevents harm. Restorative justice enables those who have been harmed to convey the impact of the harm to those responsible, and for those responsible to acknowledge this impact and take steps to put it right.
