PEP 5 Hour at Sherwood Elementary is a classroom in which all students receive special education services. Our program meets 5 hours per day, 5 days per week and is supported by one special educator and two para educators. Our students often receive a variety of services which may include speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, vision services, DHOH services, and/or InterACT services. PEP 5 Hour tries to create as many inclusion opportunities as possible throughout the school day with typical peers and/or less restrictive PEP classes for peer models, social interactions, and communication models.
