It's only been two days but we sure look good! Everyone has settled in nicely and definitely have come ready to learn. We have been practicing all of our school routines-walking in the halls, staying with our class, following directions. We have read about Elmer the elephant and how his friends liked him for who he was-a patchwork elephant. Throughout the month we will work on school readiness skills and creating friendships.
Beginning the 2019-2020 school year Sherwood Elementary School will be implementing Positive Behaviors Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and Restorative Justice.

- Restorative Justice is a powerful approach to discipline that focuses on repairing harm through inclusive processes that engage all stakeholders. Restorative justice takes an approach that resolves conflict and prevents harm. Restorative justice enables those who have been harmed to convey the impact of the harm to those responsible, and for those responsible to acknowledge this impact and take steps to put it right.
